A man in custody at the Clark County Jail for his alleged involvement in a series of armed robberies in Vancouver and Portland is now also accused of attacking another inmate.Keith B. Woody Jr., 24, of Portland was back in Superior Court on Friday to face allegations of first-degree assault and possessing a weapon in a correctional institution, court records show.An inmate, Justin Gibson, told officers that he refused to let another inmate borrow his comic books Wednesday night. Woody, who was in a different cell, became upset over the refusal and allegedly threatened to kill Gibson, according to a probable cause affidavit.Shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday, Woody allegedly entered Gibson’s cell carrying an eating utensil with a metal tip attached, the weapon being attached to his right hand with toilet paper, the affidavit states.Woody reportedly swung the weapon at Gibson, causing a scratch near his left eye. The two men began to fight, and Gibson tried to hold down Woody’s hands. Woody freed his right hand and stabbed Gibson in the right side of his forehead, leaving a puncture wound, court records said.
